What is flipping typical?

The easiest way to explore popular typefaces you have on your computer.

My favourite font doesn't show up, what's up?

Click the black bar at the top of the screen and type in the name of the font you want. It will become the main font and be remembered for the future.

How do you know what fonts i have installed!?!

We create some hidden elements and measure them before and after changing their font-family. Even back in 2009 this wasn't a new idea, we were just the first to popularise it.

Anything else?

Just a few keyboard shortcuts:
b bold i italic g align text a sort fonts alphabetically r randomise font order n toggle night mode e enter text to compare E overwrite text to compare ? show this help ESC unfocus text entry (or close this help)

What should this work on?

Firefox 2+, Safari 3+, IE7+. iOS5 Mobile Safari. OS/X a fair bit nicer than Windows. Any modern browser should be fine.
